The staff was very helpful and outstandingly accommodating, they fixed my issues. Stayed in a romantic triple room with a nice bathroom. - the room had a mini bar fridge, iron and ironing board, and a work desk provided.

When we checked in, triple room with a terrace was ready. Enjoyed that we had multi-channel television, ironing facilities and a study table.

The hotel is fairly clean and family-friendly. It has a stunning location right by the Plaza Mayor. - the continental breakfast offers great coffee, fresh juice, and healthy options.

Nice rooms, modern furnishings
They forgot we'd already paid, causing a delay at checkout, difficult to find as there are two or three hotels with the same name - not good at 2:00am! Not so much as an apology for the problems at checkout.

The rooms were very pleasant, very promptly serviced, and quiet--even the terrific family room for four with a street view. The internet access was wonderfully convenient, the staff extremely helpful and gracious, the breakfast healthful, good-tasting and with enough variety, the location fantastic. The hotel came recommended by an American travel agency that was otherwise not very helpful for planning our trip in Spain, so it's pretty clear that this hotel has made it into the mainstream, has visibility. It more than deserves its reputation for reliability. Thanks for a great stay. We will recommend this High Tech hotel. Sharon Meltzer
It was hard to take a shower without getting the floor soaking wet and having to use the towels to sop the water up. That was time-consuming and probably made for extra laundering for the hotel.

Hotel was in a fantastic position, staff were excellent and could speak english (although I can speak spanish). Jacuzzi bath didn't work and tap was loose. Tap was fixed immediately and only due to holiday they could not fix bath. Offered to exchange rooms and gave all family a free breakfast by way of apology. Could not fault the hotel or the staff.
No complaint about the hotel but we were on a driving holiday around Spain and found parking extremely difficult to find despite having a sat nav. Then we traipsed around with luggage for an hour looking for hotel. No one seemed to know where it was. Hotel is called Petit Palace but is actually under the name of Hi Tech hotels and was really difficult to locate.

The location is perfect for accessing major tourist attractions in Madrid. Palace, Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol, Opera and plenty of bars, resturants and shopping all withing walking distance. Art galleries and gardens a short Metro (or taxi) ride away. Having a computer in the room is also a plus. Also very helpful staff.
Rooms were very basic but suitable for price. No tea/coffee facilities in rooms but you could never make it as good as the dozen or so cafes in the vicinity anyway.

The room was tasteful and quiet, I had fantastic experience.
The hotel was a suitable place for enjoying a good area, short walk to shops bars and restaurants, most central metro in Madrid, and larger grocery store.

Nearer to everything.
No tea or coffee making facility. Their restaurant closed after breakfast. I have to go out to get a cup of coffee.
